The Beautiful and the Damned
Los Angeles Theatre
The Los Angeles Theatre was one of the great movie palaces of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Built in 1930, it had the capacity to seat two thousand patrons, and was lavishly appointed. Over the decades, as Downtown Los Angeles experienced economic and cultural downturn, attendance dropped, and the theatre gave its last regular showing in 1994.
Despite no longer being open to regular public events, the Los Angeles Theatre can be rented for private events. It is an acknowledged Elysium in the court of Prince Calisto Garza, and is overseen by Keeper of Elysium Almira Lim.
